Battery Charge is best described as the stamina system in Zenless Zone Zero, which restricts the number of resource accumulating activities you can complete per day. Battery Charge replenishes up to a cap of 240 automatically as time in real-life time passes, regardless of whether you're actively playing the game or not.

What Does Battery Charge Do in Zenless Zone Zero?

Battery Charge must be used to launch the following resource accumulating activities:

Combat Simulation

20-100 Battery Charge

Expert Challenge

40 Battery Charge

Routine Clean Up

60 Battery Charge

In all instances, spending Battery Charge on any of the above activities will earn resources which can be used to level up characters.

How Do You Get Battery Charge in Zenless Zone Zero?

Battery Charge replenishes at a rate of 1 Battery Charge for every six minutes of time that pass in real-life, even when you're not actively playing the game. This means a total of 240 Battery Charge can be accumulated automatically every 24 hours.

Battery Charge can also be manually acquired in the following ways:

• Coffee Shops offer a variety of beverages which provide 60 Battery Charge once per day
• Ether Batteries can be consumed to immediately acquire 60 Battery Charge
• Polychrome can be spent on 60 Battery Charge up to eight times per day

Automatic accumulation of Battery Charge will be capped at 240 Battery Charge, however using any of the above methods will enable you to exceed the cap. Once exceeded, automatic regeneration will be paused until your total amount of Battery Charge goes below the cap again.

Battery Charge can be purchased with Polychrome up to eight times per day, but this price increases with each subsequent purchase. Here's how much the price increase with each refill:
