Topic: What PS4 Games Are You Currently Playing?

@HallowMoonshadow Sounds pretty good so far. Was there any crafting? Supposedly this series features a huge focus on crafting, which is a big part of why I've hesitated to try it.

Also, FFXII without gambits?! You're a madwoman.

Full Throttle: Remastered - never had a PC back in the day, so never had a chance to play these Lucas Arts point-and-click adventures. Played and quite enjoyed Day of the Tentacle: Remastered a couple of years back… and think I might like FT even more. Love the gruff main character and the biker gang theme, as well as the remastered art work.

@colonelkilgore damn that’s quite a classic right here.

@Yousef- ikr… one of my favourite things to do with these games is to hit the touchpad every time I reach a new screen to cycle between the original visuals and that of the remasters. I remember looking at screenshots of the games back in the day and being amazed… but looking at them now I can barely see through the pixelisation.

@colonelkilgore could be a monitor thing. As someone with a few older monitors still lying around, I can attest some things looked better on their at-the-time intended monitor. But I can’t verify it for this game because I never grew up with LucasArt games.

That said, I’m actually generally a big P&C adventure buff. Before TWD, telltale made a ton of them. Back to the future, Sam & Max: Save the World, Jurassic Park: the Video Game, Tales of Monkey Island, Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Cool Attractive People… all classics in my eyes. But a lot of them are much harder to get now than ever due to both 7th gen exclusivity AND digital exclusivity. I have ‘em all on PC though.

@Yousef- I hadn’t heard of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Cool Attractive People before… but might have to look that one up 😉

There wasn't in that first hour as Ryza isn't an Alchemist yet @Ralizah

But I played a little longer and... Soon as she became an Alchemist pretty much EVERYTHING could be gathered in some way or another (Flowers, barrels, cobwebs, grapes, rocks, water etc.) and the alchemy/crafting system went over my head (I was rather tired last night when I played it).

That's all I can say about it though. I was only giving it a little look-see as I won't actually be playing it properly anytime soon but hopefully these first impressions give you a little heads up.
