Thank you. It was easier when I had my Galaxy S8... This Sony XA2 Ultra is a great phone, but the camera is pretty middling in its automatic modes!
I used to take a lot of shots of the Eaglemoss stuff every month and post to their fb page but didn't keep any of them. Not sure I have the patience to go looking 😂

That's the bulk of the Eaglemoss stuff, quite a lot boxed though. Think I'll start sorting through and changing stuff around. Don't even like the Kelvin ships! 😂

@RogerRoger I do generally favour Sony, but Samsung phone cameras are incredible.
I found a few of my posts to Eaglemoss' fb page. I'll get them up later. Took them with a Sony DX10 Lens Cam.

The light is cheap on think geek at the mo. Both that and the Bluetooth communicator were gifts from my Mrs 😊

@RogerRoger I have a Huawei P20 Pro and it really stands out is with its camera, a triple-lens 40MP + 20MP + 8MP beast that's capable of some super shots. Shame it's wasted on me as I rarely take photos.

I've been having a deeper dive and can't find any of the original images sadly. Some of the fb ones must be buried in comments threads and such. Still, managed to get a few.

The Delta Flyer is a great model.

NX-01, probably the best of the early line up.

I remeber trying several ways to shoot the E and finding it really difficult. Could probably do something with an actual camera and a macro lens. Found in the end I really liked this keyboard shot.

Now for the two best pictures (of tat/stuff) I've ever taken and forgot about!

Bit of vapor, balanced the light just right and a bit of pixlr filtering.

And this was completely in camera. No filters or post processing.

I'm the type to usually keep everything. Going to check through thumb drives etc to see if I have any of the original images as there were loads more.

And these two. Forgot how nice the probe was!

@FullbringIchigo you can get decent with a lot of phone cameras. Turn off your flash, use in room lighting (even from your TV in a dim room) and have a play with manual settings.

@KALofKRYPTON FUN FACT: i don't actually have a mobile phone that can take pictures, for me all a phone needs to do is call another phone so that's what i brought a cheap £10 phone that lets me call other people

i don't have any need for all the other crap phones have now a days

I like the idea - but I use my phone for the majority of my day to day personal computing/entertainment. The couple of times in the past decade or so where I've used a 'dumbphone' were rather liberating, but equally infuriating!

@KALofKRYPTON i like the freedom it gives me, when i'm out i can actually look around and enjoy the view instead of having me eyes glued on a phone screen like many seem to have now a days

living in the country helps because there are some damn nice views around where i live

Gosh the Metal Gear Solid art book arrived today (it's a gift for someone). It's quite a time - much bigger and heavier than I was expecting!

For taking photos I just use my phone now, although my preference would be a proper camera. I used to have an expensive Panasonic one, but never replaced it when it broke. Samsung phone cameras are good, but there was a bug on my last Samsung (an S5) where it had trouble focusing.

Thanks. It took a bit to get it right as I recall. But, it was light just from the TV, some chocolate coconut eliquid (because that's what nebulas smell like, obvs) and a relatively high ISO.

And the 'background' off to the left is a cushion! 😂

The Eaglemoss ship nacelles do pick up light quite well actually.
The conny refit next to the NX up there is just on a windowsill. The Flyer has a little LED under it.
