Review Dragon's Dogma 2 (PS5) - The Apex of RPG Adventuring
Dragon's godma
When you think of truly memorable open world games, it's hard not to picture the likes of Elden Ring and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Both are ultimately shooting for different goals, but they share a deep appreciation for discovery. Their worlds aren't defined by map markers; they're designed in ways that push players...

Guide Dragon's Dogma 2 Guide: Help for Getting the Most Out of Your Adventure
Dragon, meet dogma
Dragon's Dogma 2 is an open world, action RPG from Capcom, released for PS5 on the 22nd March, 2024. With a heavy emphasis on player agency and exploration, it's an often vague and obtuse title, and so with this Dragon's Dogma 2 guide, we want to try and offer help with a couple of the game's most important features. If you're...
Guide Dragon's Dogma 2: All Sphinx Riddle Answers, Locations, and Rewards
How to complete A Game of Wits
How do you answer the Sphinx's riddles in Dragon's Dogma 2? A side quest called A Game of Wits will see you face off against a legendary creature known as the Sphinx in, well, a game of wits. She'll task you with answering a number of riddles, most of which require thinking outside of the box. Answering these riddles...

Where to find all character classes
How do you unlock all vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2? Vocations are basically character classes, and they determine how your Arisen, and your pawns, function in combat. Each vocation has its own weapon and armour requirements, while boasting unique attacks, skills, and perks that define your style of play. In this...

The votes are in, and the results are here. Just over a week ago, we asked the Push Square community to vote for their PS5 Game of the Year for 2024 so far. Indeed, we've had over six months of highly rated releases, and 40 of those titles were included in the poll. Readers could vote for just one game, and a total of 3,361 votes...
News Dragon's Dogma 2 Patch Clearly Improves PS5 Performance, But It's Still Far from Perfect
Getting warmer
A new Dragon's Dogma 2 update dropped last week, promising performance improvements on PS5. The action RPG has suffered from an unruly frame rate since launch, and although Capcom did start cleaning things up with patch 1.050 just a week after the game's launch, this latest update arrives over three months later — and it still...
News Dragon's Dogma 2 Gets a Free Trial for a Limited Time on PS5
Come forth, Arisen
If you've been tempted to try Dragon's Dogma 2 but you're yet to pull the trigger on a full purchase, you may want to give this new trial a shot. Available to download now on PS5, this is a two-hour preview where you can transfer your progress over to the game proper. There is a catch, though, in that the trial is only accessible...
News Huge Dragon's Dogma 2 PS5 Update Adds Frame Rate Settings, 120FPS Is an Option
Plus an item storage overhaul
Capcom has finally got around to improving the performance of Dragon's Dogma 2 with a significant PS5 patch that can be downloaded now. From a performance standpoint, the most important addition the update brings is the ability to set "graphics settings" to either high or low. On top of that, if you own a 4K TV that...
News Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC Speculation Intensifies Thanks to Summer Game Fest Promo
Rock the dragon
Some Dragon's Dogma 2 fans are starting to get their hopes up for a DLC announcement at this week's Summer Game Fest. As always, we'd be somewhat wary of such speculation, but there is decent enough reasoning behind this line of thinking. The event's promotional trailer — put together by host Geoff Keighley himself — heavily...
News Dragon's Dogma 2 Patch 1.150 Drops as Players Still Wait for Better PS5 Performance
Not this time
Yet another update has arrived for Dragon's Dogma 2, bringing more positive adjustments to the open world RPG. However, there's still no sign of further improvements to the game's technical performance on PS5, which is already rubbing some players the wrong way. To be fair, patch 1.150 does include a nice boost to storage space, and a...
News Dragon's Dogma 2 Tops an Impressive 3 Million Sales
The Arisen has arisen
Two and a bit months after its release, Dragon's Dogma 2 has now sold 3 million copies. Last we heard, the open world RPG had topped 2.5 million in one week or so, which means it's managed an additional 500,000 sales since. Given that the original Dragon's Dogma took years to really take off in a commercial sense, the...
News Capcom Now Considers Dragon's Dogma a 'Key Brand' Following Substantial Sales
Alongside Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Resi
The year is 2024, and we now live in a world where Capcom considers Dragon's Dogma to be one of its "key brands". According to the publisher's latest financial report, the action RPG series currently sits alongside the likes of Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, and Street Fighter as a pillar property...
News Dragon's Dogma 2 Success Means Capcom Shareholders Get a Bump
That particular bet paid off
Capcom has revealed that, mainly due to Dragon's Dogma 2's success, the company will pay out more money to shareholders than previously anticipated. The combination developer/publisher has revised its full-year earnings and dividend forecasts for the financial year ending 31st March 2024. Across all platforms, Dragon's...
News Dragon's Dogma 2 Patch 1.10 Out Now on PS5, Adjusts Dragonsplague, Pawns, and More
No performance updates, though
As promised by Capcom earlier in the month, Dragon's Dogma 2 has a new update on PS5. Patch 1.10, which weighs in at a very manageable 563MB, features adjustments to various aspects of the game, like making dragonsplague easier to spot, and improving pawn behaviour. Those who caught the initial patch announcement...

Hands On Dragon's Dogma 2 Update Improves Frame Rate on PS5 at the Cost of Ray Tracing
30fps option feels pointless, though
Dragon's Dogma 2 has been blessed with some notable improvements via its first post-launch update. With patch 1.050, Capcom has implemented several graphics settings on PS5, and we're happy to report that the open world RPG has taken a decent step in the right direction. To start with, let's go over the options...
Preview Dragon's Dogma 2 Feels Like a Remake of the First Game, in a Good Way
Heartfelt
Dragon's Dogma 2 sticks with the Dark Arisen template to a pleasant but almost surprising degree. Sequels often walk a fine balancing act as significant departures can alienate existing fans, whereas repeating the established gameplay often feels too safe. Capcom's anticipated sequel easily falls into the latter category but when the...
